Penne pasta with Italian sausage

Pasta has to be one of my favorite ingredients ever. I know. Me and the rest of the world. But what’s not to love? It’s super easy to make and can be transformed into a plethora of different meals. Plus, there’s veggie and whole wheat pasta so I can feel healthy as I pig out. Holla!

I’m sure you can guess why this girlboss needs pasta in her life. After 8-10 hours of hardcore adulting at the workplace, the last thing I want to do is adult some more over some tedious meal and sacrifice time that’s better spent unwinding on the couch.

Truthfully though, that’s saying something considering cooking is one of my favorite hobbies since ever. For whatever reason, the kitchen is least sexy between 6-8pm on a workday. Thankfully, this penne pasta doesn’t take too much time, so it’s one of my staples!

What I love about this creamy penne pasta with Italian sausage is that its easy eats!!! Seriously. Light, quick, doesn’t require too many ingredients, and the ones it does require are pretty basic. Also easy on the wallet might I add! Pair it with a salad and dinner’s done!

I still remember the first time I made this recipe. Tender pasta, subtle hints of cheese, and yummy chunks of Italian sausage bursting with flavor in every bite!

I’m recollecting a pasta experience like it’s long-lost childhood. I need help! Easy pasta dishes are simply the best!

Hot Italian sausage works for this recipe if you love heat! I like spicy food, but this one doesn’t need heat in my opinion, so I tend to use sweet Italian sausage and season with pepper at the end so that I can control the heat.

Delicious flavor in no time folks! If you’re forever on the go like I am, then this penne pasta is your new BFF! Bon appétit!
